Roasting Forks (2)

These items at Smith’s Tavern are roasting (or toasting) forks.  They are long-handled forks used for cooking or toasting frankfurters, marshmallows, toast, etc., usually over an open fire.  There are a matching pair of roasting forks at Smith’s Tavern – each with wooden handles with long metal shafts and with two-tine ends.
