The larger (82-9-2) is known as a primitive Mandolin vegetable slicer but was most commonly known as a cabbage slicer. It is made of solid wood with a center diagonal blade that could be adjusted by a wingnut on the side. It has a hole at the top center for hanging. This slicer could be put on a counter or held at an angle to slice the food.
