Pruning Hooks (2)

These tools at Smith’s Tavern are pruning hooks, which are cutting tools consisting of a curved metal blade on a long handle.  It was used to cut vines, branches, etc. The rough blades of both of these tools at Smith’s Tavern appear to have been made by a blacksmith versus a mass manufacturer.
