Blue Small Iron

This tool at Smith’s Tavern is a blue-colored small iron.

 

Irons that were 5” or less are considered “small irons”.  Many of these were not made solely for children, but some were made as toys.  

 

Our research has been unable to discover any more about this tool.  If anyone does know more, please email the Historical Society with this much needed information.
